Day 01, 18 May/02 Nov.: SYDNEY or MELBOURNE – BEIJING
Sydney passengers depart Sydney to Beijing on MU728 at 10:30 in the morning and arrive at 22:20 in the evening. Melbourne passengers depart Melbourne to Shanghai on MU738 at 11:00 and arrive at Shanghai at 19:45 in evening. Connect your MU5186 in Shanghai departing at 21:05 and arriving at Beijing at 23:40. Upon arrival, our tour guide will meet you in the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 02, 19 May/03 Nov.: BEIJING (B.L.)
Beijing served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from the heaven. Start your city tour to Tiananmen Square, followed by a visit to the Forbidden City. This complex, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace ever built in the world, features more than 800 buildings with 9999 rooms, resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of heaven. You will have a chance to enjoy the optional famous Kungfu (Martial Art) show in the evening (at your own cost).

Day 03, 20 May/04 Nov.: BEIJING (B.L.D.)
The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Path. The Great Wall is the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only man made object visible from the moon, and as one of the Eight Wonders of the world. It is a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and the pride of the Chinese nation. Later visit the Sacred Path of Ming Tombs. This is an attractive destination as much for the natural scenery of the area as for the tombs themselves. Visit the Cloisonné Factory and enjoy the famous Peking Duck dinner in the evening.

Day 04, 21 May/05 Nov.: BEIJING – XIAN (B.D)

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport to take flight to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian, you will visit the Ancient City Wall, which is not only the most complete city wall that has survived in China, but is also one of the largest and most complete ancient military defence systems in the world. You will enjoy a Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show and dinner in the evening (at your own cost)

Day 05, 22 May/06 Nov.: XIAN (B.L.)
Visit the Porcelain Terra Cotta Warriors Factory to see how the local make the porcelain terra-cotta figures, the same way, which their old generation used to make the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses for the Qin Shi Huang’s Tomb. Continue to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, the attached defending army to the first emperor of China, regarded as “the eighth wonder of the world” and among the top archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Later afternoon, you will be transferred back to hotel. Dinner will be at your own expense.

Day 06, 23 May/07 Nov.: XIAN – SHANGHAI (B.D)

After breakfast, you are taken to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, start your visit to Nanjing Road and stroll around the Bund (Wai Tan) waterfront area, a sweeping area along the Huangpu River, where used to be foreign concessions and now is the symbol of modern Shanghai. You will also visit Xintiandi, a renovated and popular area in Shanghai full of dynamic bars, fancy restaurants and fashion shops. You will find lots of unique Shikumen remained along the street in the area, which are the traditional houses for Shanghai people.

Day 07, 24 May/08 Nov.: SHANGHAI (B.L)
After breakfast, visit the Yuyuan Garden and the Old City area. You will also visit the largest commercial and financial centre of China after enjoying the Silk Fashion Show and you will also visit Pearl shop.

Day 08, 25 May/09 Nov.: SHANGHAI (B)
Today you will have a free at leisure to explore Shanghai on your own.

Day 09, 26 May/10 Nov.: SHANGHAI – SUZHOU – SHANGHAI (B.L.D.)
Suzhou has been praised as the “Paradise on the Earth” since ancient times and is an extraordinarily delicate and elegant city. Known as “Venice of the East”, Suzhou is built around Grand Canal. The city’s many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou the “Garden City”. Our sightseeing includes the Garden of the Master of the Nets, visit Panmen park outside view. Pingjiang Road. Travel by motor coach to Shanghai in the evening.

Day 10, 27 May/11 Nov.: SHANGHAI – AUSTRALIA (B)

You are free at leisure and do last minute shopping in town. In the late afternoon, you are transferred to Shanghai Pudong airport for your flight homeward to Australia. Fly overnight.

Day 11, 28 May/12 Nov.: AUSTRALIA
Arrive in Australia in the morning. Your unforgettable China tour ends.
