13 Day Vietnam Holiday Special Promotion 2014

Day 01: Australia – Hanoi

Depart Australia on Vietnam Airlines in the morning and arrive in Hanoi in the evening.Upon arrival, you are welcome at the airport and transferred to hotel. Overnight at Sunway Hotel**** or similar.


Day 02: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Breakfast. This morning depart from Hanoi and travel by air-conditioned bus through the Red River Delta to beautiful Ha Long Bay. The scenic drive will pass through some of the rural landscape before arriving in the afternoon to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. A Bay with more than 3000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculptured into fantastic shapes. Upon arrival, check in the junk at noon. A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay to visit Thien Cung cave , Dau Go cave, round over Tuan Chau island, Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island and a swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board while watching sunset and enjoy fishing, drinking Vietnamese wine, and spending a night on the Bai Tho Junk or similar.


Day 03: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/D)

Breakfast. A morning cruise to visit Man's head island, Tortoise Island, Luon cave, Bai Tu Long bay, Toad Island, Bai tho mountain. Return to Halong city and have lunch on board. Drive back to Hanoi for the night. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight at Sunway  Hotel**** or similar.


Day 04: Hanoi – Hue (B/L/D)

Breakfast. Today city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Fine Art Museum. Then move on to the Temple of Literature, Lake of Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. After lunch, transferred to airport for flight to Hue. Stay overnight at Park View Hotel**** or similar.


Day 05: Hue (B/L/D)

Breakfast. This morning take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda-one of the most beautiful Pagodas in Vietnam built at the end of 16th century and Kinh Minh Mang's tomb. Afternoon visit Imperial palace: a citadel surrounded by large moats. Then continue to visit King Tu Duc’s tomb. Enjoy traditional music on Perfume River. Overnight at Park View Hotel**** or similar.


Day 06: Hue – Hoi An (B/L/D)

Breakfast. Drive over the mighty Hai Van Pass, on the way visit Cham Museum where the remaining evidence of the Champa civilization can be viewed. Then visit the Marble Mountains, which is fascinating maze of cave and temples, hidden with five sacred marble rocks. Visit Hoi An town with Japanese Bridge, Old House, Chinese Temple and Hoi An Cultural Museum. Overnight at Hoi An Hotel**** or similar.


Day 07: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An (B/L/D)

Breakfast. Visit My Son, Vietnam's most important Cham ruins site and Bang An, one of Vietnam's best preserved Cham towers. In the afternoon you are free for shopping around Hoi An Town. Overnight at Hoi An Hotel**** or similar.


Day 08: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon – Can Tho (B/L/D)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for a short flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, drive to Can Tho City, considered as the capital of Mekong Delta. Visit Caodaist Temple in Cai Lay district on the way. You will enjoy the passing through the two most beautiful bridges across Mekong Rivers in Southeast Asia. My Thuan Bridge offered by Australia and Can Tho Bridge by Japan. Overnight at Ninh Kieu 2 Hotel**** or similar.


Day 09: Can Tho (B/L/D)

In the morning prompt departure via private river craft for the Goliath floating markets of Cai Rang and Phong Dien. Time for photos opportunity. It is the largest and chaotic floating in Southeast Asia - real life of people in Mekong with a boat used like their home and meaning for their business. Tour the floating markets on your river craft and return to Can Tho. Free afternoon. Dinner on Can Tho Floating Restaurant viewing Can Tho Bridge by night. Overnight at Ninh Kieu 2 Hotel**** or similar.


Day 10: Can Tho – Saigon (B/L/D)

Breakfast. Drive back to Saigon. Stop to visit Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market in the city's bustling China Town, the former Presidential Palace, and the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office. This evening enjoy your dinner on Saigon River. Overnight at New Pacific Hotel**** or similar.


Day 11: Saigon – Cu Chi – Saigon (B/L/D)

In the morning travel to Cu Chi guerrilla's area and visit the underground tunnels. There are more than 200 km of tunnels that were built by the Communist guerrillas during the war. Free afternoon for shopping. Overnight at New Pacific Hotel**** or similar.


Day 12: Saigon – Australia (B)

You are at leisure todayfor shopping until transfer to airport for your flight homeward to Australia.


Day 13: Australia

Arrive in Australia in the morning. Your unforgettable Vietnam tour ends.

  • $2,480 per person twin share for March, April, May & October 2014 ($350 extra + tax difference for using Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific Airways).
