16 Day Scandinavian Capitals and Eastern Europe Highlights Tour (Tour Code: ESB)

Day 01, 08 Apr: Australia – Singapore/Hong Kong/London – Helsinki
Depart Australia to Helsinki, capital of Finland on Qantas and Finn Airs or British Airways via Singapore or Hong Kong and fly overnight.

Day 02, 09 Apr: Helsinki (D)
You arrive in Helsinki in the afternoon (flight arrival at 16:20). Upon arrival you are met with tour leader, an organised transfer to the hotel will follow. Stay overnight in Helsinki at a four star hotel for two nights

Day 03, 10 Apr: Helsinki (B, D)
After breakfast whole day Helsinki sightseeing tour will follow. Morning tour include "The Church of Rock" Temppeliaukio Church, Sibelius Monument, Mannerheimintie, Central Park, Olympic Stadium, Finlandia Hall, Uspenski Cathedral and Senate Square, Esplanade, Market Square with some free time for shopping and lunch. In the afternoon visit to the Seurasaari open air museum and Finnish National Museum. Stay overnight in Helsinki. Included: entrance to Seurassari open air museum, Finnish National Museum ...

Day 04, 11 Apr: Helsinki – Stockholm (luxury ferry) (B, D)
In the morning visit Suomenlinna Sea Fortress (including a ferry trip to Suomenlinna). Some free time on the market and afternoon boarding on the ship-ferry to Stockholm (seaview cabin). Typical Scandinavia buffet dinner on board. Sail to Sweden.

Day 05, 12 Apr: Stockholm (B, D)
In the morning, you will arrive at the Stockholm port. Enjoy city tour in Stockholm including City Hall (where Nobel's peace price ceremony is held), Vasa Museum, the Royal Palace and Drottingham Palace. Stay overnight in Stockholm at a four star hotel.
Included: entrance fees to the City Hall, Vasa musuem and Drottingham palace

Day 06, 13 Apr: Stockholm – Karlstad (310 km) (B, D)
After breakfast, some free time in Stockholm for leisure. After time for lunch depart from Sweden's capital and continue to travel across Sweden to Karlstad. Stay overnight at Karlstad at a four star hotel.

Day 07, 14 Apr: Karlstadt – Oslo (220 km) (B, D)
After breakfast continue to Norway and morning arrival in capital city Oslo. The group will have sightseeing tour in Oslo including Vigeland Sculpture Park (Frogner Park), City Hall, Akershus Fortress, Royal Palace and Kon-tiki museum.
Included: entrance fees to Akershus Fortress and Kon-tiki museum.

Day 08, 15 Apr: Oslo – Copenhagen (luxury ferry) (B, D)
After breakfast, drive to Holmenkollen Ski jump area and then some free time in Oslo for leisure, shopping, etc.. In the afternoon, depart with ship to Copenhagen, DFDS Scandinavian Seaways (seaview cabin). Enjoy a buffet dinner on board the ship. Sail to Denmark.

Day 09, 16 Apr: Copenhagen (B, D)
Arrive at Copenhagen by DFDS. Start a city tour of Denmark capital including Statue of Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Palace, Round tower, City Hall Square and Carlsberg brewery. Stay overnight at a four star hotel in Copenhagen.

Day 10, 17 Apr: Copenhagen – Warsaw (by flight) (B, D)

After breakfast you are transferred to the airport to take your flight to Warsaw, Poland. Visits in Warsaw include Church of Holy Cross, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Monument, Old Town, Warsaw Ghetto, St Joseph's Cathedral, Lazienki Park, Chopin Monument, Wilanow Palace, Polish style dinner. Stay overnight at a four star hotel in Warsaw.

Day 11, 18 Apr: Warsaw – Oswiecim – Krakow (385 km) (B, D)
In the morning depart from Warsaw and travel to Oswiecim and visit Concentration camps – Auschwitz I & II. After that, travel to Krakow and first panoramic tour and walk to the main square – historic centre. Stay overnight at a four star hotel in Krakow for two nights.
Included: entrance fee with guided tour in Auschwitz concentration camp

Day 12, 19 Apr: Krakow – Wieliczka – Krakow (40 km) (B, D)
Visit Krakow main sights: Wawel Royal Castle with Royal Palace, Church of Virgin Mary and University Museum. In the afternoon drive to Wieliczka and visit world well known Salt mine. After that return to Krakow and Jewish dinner (diner with concert at Jewish quarter)
Included: entrance fees to Royal Palace appartaments, to Virgin Mary church and to Salt mine in Wieliczka.

Day 13, 20 Apr: Krakow – Olomouc - Brno (330 km) (B, D)
Departure toward west and crossing border to Czech Republic and continue to Olomouc for visit of the famous old town centre. Time of lunch and continue to Brno – the second biggest Czech town. Short city tour of Brno. Enjoy a Bohemian roast meat dinner with dark beer. Stay overnight in Brno. Accommodation: hotel****.

Day 14, 21 Apr: Brno – Prague (210 km) – Helsinki – Hong Kong or Singapore/London– Sydney (B)
Depart Brno in the morning and then have walking city tour in Prague. If there is enought time, you have a chance to visite castle Hradcani. Then you will be transferred to the Prague airport for your flights homeward to Sydney via Helsinki and Hong Kong or Singapore. Fly overnight.

Day 15, 22 Apr: On Flight
You are on flight to Sydney via Hong Kong or Singapore or London.

Day 16, 23 Apr: Sydney Arrival
Arrive in Sydney in the morning. Your unforgettable Scandinavia and Eastern Europe country tour ends.

Tour price: $6,980 per person, twin or double share

Single supplement: $940

Tour price includes:
1. Economy class airfare Sydney – Singapore or Hong Kong – Helsinki//Vienna – Helsinki – Singapore or Hong Kong – Sydney on Finn Airs + Cathay pacific or Qantas or British Airways with airport tax and fuel surcharge;
2. One way international air-ticket from Copenhagen to Warsaw on Polish Airlines with tax;
3. 10 night accommodation in a double/twin room in a nice 4 star hotels with breakfast;
4. 2 night accommodation in a twin shared cabin on ferry;
5. 12 dinners, mostly at hotel restaurants, some dinners (as mentioned in the itinerary) will be organised with program in the local restaurants;
