16 Day Vietnam Adventures Tour 2017-2018

Day 01: AUSTRALIA – HANOI
Depart Australia in the morning and arrive in Hanoi in the evening. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to hotel. Overnight at MK Primier Hotel **** or similar.

Day 02: HANOI – LAOCAI (B.D)
You are free at leisure today. After dinner, you are transferred to the Railway Station for an overnight train to Lao Cai (Tulico or King Express, quad shared soft sleeping compartment).

Day 03: LAOCAI – SAPAT – CAT CAT VILLAGE – SAPA (B.L.D)
In early morning, you arrive at Lao Cai Train station, you will be met and transferred to hotel for breakfast. Sapa tour includes visit to ethnic market at Sapa town, then Cat Cat village H'mong people and Cat Cat waterfall lying in a small village. There you will come to know traditional culture of the Vietnamese people. Stay at Chau Long Sapa Hotel**** or similar.

Day 04: SAPA – TAPHIN ETHNIC VILLAGE - LAOCAI – HANOI (B.L.D)
Travel by car to Taphin village where Red Dzao and Black H'Mong will make you feel at home. En route, you will pass the ruins of French - era church. Then transfer to Lao Cai Station for overnight train to Hanoi (Tulico or King Express, quad shared soft sleeping compartment).

Day 05: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B. L. D)
On arrival in Hanoi, you will be picked up and transferred for Breakfast and then we depart from Hanoi and travel by air-conditioned bus through the Red River Delta to beautiful Ha Long Bay. The scenic drive will pass through some of the rural landscape before arriving in the afternoon to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. Ha Long Bay consists of more than 3000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculptured into fantastic shapes. Upon arrival, check in the junk at noon. You will experience a fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay to visit Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave, and round over Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island and a swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board while watching sunset and enjoy fishing, drinking Vietnamese wine, and spending a night on the Phoenix Deluxe Junk**** or similar.

Day 06: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B. L. D)
In the morning, you will have breakfast and from there, go for a morning cruise to visit Man's head island, Tortoise Island, Luon cave, Bai Tu Long bay, Toad Island, Bai tho mountain. Afterwards, return to Halong city and have lunch on board. We will drive back to Hanoi for the night. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Stay overnight at MK Primier Hotel **** or similar.

Day 07: HANOI – HUE (B. L. D)
In the morning, you will have breakfast. Today city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Fine Art Museum. Then move on to the Temple of Literature, Lake of Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Hue. Stay overnight at Eldora Hotel**** plus or similar.

Day 08: HUE (B. L. D)
This morning, take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda-one of the most beautiful Pagodas in Vietnam built at the end of 16th century and Kinh Minh Mang's tomb. Afternoon visit Imperial palace: a citadel surrounded by large moats. Then continue to visit King Tu Duc’s tomb. Enjoy traditional music on Perfume River in the evening. Stay overnight at Eldora Hotel**** plus or similar.

Day 09: HUE – HOI AN (B. L. D)
In the morning, drive over the mighty Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. On the way there, we will visit Cham Museum where the remaining evidence of the Champa civilization can be viewed. Then visit the Marble Mountains, which is fascinating maze of cave and temples, hidden with five sacred marble rocks. Visit Hoi An town with Japanese Bridge, Old House, Chinese Temple and Hoi An Cultural Museum. You will stay overnight at Laresidencia Hotel & Spa **** plus or similar.

Day 10: HOI AN – MY SON – HOI AN (B. L. D)
You will take a boat ride on Thu Bon River for the overview of Hoi An Ancient City, then followed by a visit to My Son, Vietnam's most important Cham ruins site and Bang An, one of Vietnam's best preserved Cham towers. Stay overnight at Laresidencia Hotel & Spa **** plus or similar.

Day 11: HOI AN – DANANG – SAIGON (B.D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you are free at leisure to explore Hoi An ancient town. In the afternoon, you are transferred to Danang airport for the flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, you are transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the former Presidential Palace, the History Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Saigon Post Office. Overnight at Harmony Hotel**** or similar.

Day 12: SAIGON – CAN THO (B.L.D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will drive to Cu Chi guerrilla's area and visit the underground tunnels. There are more than 200km of tunnels that were built by the Communist guerrillas during the war. After that, continue to drive to Can Tho City, considered as the capital of Mekong Delta. Visit Caodaist Temple in Cai Lay District on the way. Dinner. Overnight at Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel**** or similar.

Day 13: CAN THO – SAIGON (B.L.D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will take a boat ride to visit the floating market and fruit garden. Then continue to visit Southern Tyni Pagoda and the local market. Lunch with Southern Amateur Musical Performance. In the afternoon, drive back to Saigon. Stop at China Town to visit the bustling wholesales market and Holy Lady Temple. Overnight at Harmony Hotel**** or similar.

Day 14: SAIGON (B. L. D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit Jade Pagoda, Lacquerware Factory and War Crime Museum. After lunch, transfer you to Ben Thanh Market for shopping or free at your own leisure. Overnight at Harmony Hotel**** or similar.

Day 15: SAIGON – AUSTRALIA (B)
You are at leisure today for shopping until transfer to airport for your flight homeward to Australia.

Day 16: AUSTRALIA
You will arrive in Australia in the morning. Your unforgettable Vietnam tour ends.

The prices are in Australian dollar, per person twin or double share.

Single supplement: $880

Inclusions:

International and domestic economy class airfare, airport tax and fuel surcharge (currently $150 for Vietnam Airlines and $570 for Singapore Airlines, subject to change), 4 star hotel accommodation or similar on twin-shared basis, two night accommodation in a quad shared compartment on the train between Hanoi and Laocai, one night accommodation on a 4 star Junk Boat in Halong Bay, transfers and transport by air-conditioned vehicle, cruises as stated in the itinerary, meals and sightseeing with entrance fees as indicated in the itinerary, English-speaking guide and ADT travel bag.

Exclusions:

Travel insurance, Vietnam visa fee (currently $100, subject to change), tip to guide and driver ($5 per person per day), personal expenses and all other services not mentioned in the itinerary.

PS: The train to Sapa is Tulico Train or King Express Train. Each cabin has four soft sleeping berths. If you want to upgrade, you are required to pay extra as follows:

To three sleeping berths: $100

To two sleeping berths: $170
