Day 01: Australia – Hong Kong

Depart Australia on Cathay Pacific to Seoul, South Korea via Hong Kong in the evening and fly overnight.

Day 02: Hong Kong – Seoul (D)

Arrive in Hong Kong in the morning. Connect your flight to Seoul, Capital city of South Korea and arrive in Seoul in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to hotel.

Day 03: Seoul – Demilitarised Zone Tour (DMZ TOUR) (B.L.D)
This is a very special tour destination in Korea, which offers a real vivid eye opening experience of the Korean War and a dramatic sense of the tragedy of the separated family members between the two Koreas from the division of the peninsula. This tour includes Jayu Road, The Bridge of Freedom, Dora Station, Dora Observatory, Imjingak Pavilion. Return to Seoul and visit Seoul Tower and Myeongdong Shopping area.

Day 04: Seoul (B.L.D)
Start your tour to Gyeongbokgung Palace past by The Presidential Blue House (Photo stop only). This Palace was built in the late 14th century by the founder of the Joseon Dynasty. There are the majestic edifice, Geunjeongjeon, the spacious 2-story pavilion, "Gyeongheoru" and nestled in the middle of lotus pond, "Hyangwonjeong". Afterwards continue to The National Folk Museum, which displays the religious rituals, dwelling customs, household tools, food, traditional costumes and the social dynamics of traditional Korean life. The Jogyesa Temple is our next stop. It is the headquarters of the Jogyejong, the largest sect of Korean Buddhism. It is located in the heart of Seoul. It provides a different atmosphere to enjoy. You may make wishes regardless of your religion. After lunch, visit the Korean folk village. This will offer us a unique glimpse into Korea's past. Here in reconstructed farmhouses, residences of the nobility and other buildings of several centuries ago, a flourishing community of potters, millers, blacksmiths, pipe makers and other craftsmen continue to work as our ancestors did. Lastly visit COEX Mall, a novel entertainment facility in the heart of the city. Stay overnight in Seoul.

Day 05: Seoul – Chungcheongnam-do (B.L.D)
Today we will start Changdeokgung Palace. Changdeokgung Palace was the second royal villa built following the construction of Gyeongbukgung Palace in 1405. It was the principal palace for many kings of the Joseon Dynasty, and is the most well-preserved of the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. The palace grounds are comprised of a public palace area, a royal family residence building, and the rear garden. Known as a place of rest for the kings, the rear garden boasts a gigantic tree that is over 300 years old, a small pond, and a pavilion. Afterwards visit the national museum of Korea, located about 1.5 km away from Yongsan Station. It is the largest museum in Korea and houses precious Korean cultural assets that tell the story of Korea’s fascinating history, from ancient times to the modern era. Stay overnight in Chungcheongnam-do.

Day 06: Chungcheongnam-do – Cheongwon (Sangsu Herb) – Seoul (B.L.D.)
Drive back to Seoul. On the way, stop to visit Sangsu Herbland. Upon arrival in Seoul, you will have DIY Bibibap for your lunch. And then have a visit to showroom for Kimchi making and Hanbok Wear museum (Korea Traditional clothes). Also visit Dongdaemun Market, Korea’s representative wholesale and retail market, where you can do some shopping for some goods, around 30% cheaper than in the outside shops.

Day 07: Seoul – Taipei (B.D)

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for your flight to Taipei, Taiwan. Upon arrival you are met and enjoy a Taipei City sightseeing tour including the impressive C.K.S. Memorial Hall, National Palace Museum where 5,000 years of Chinese Imperial arts and jade collections are exhibited, Martyrs’ Shrine of traditional architecture and Taipei Handicraft Center. In the evening, enjoy a night tour in Taipei including Longshan temple, Hwahsi Night market and the world’s tallest building “Taipei 101”.

Day 08: Taipei – Sun Moon Lake – Nantou (B.L.D)
Pick up from hotel. Transfer to Taipei High Speed Railway Station / Bullet Train to Taichung. Lunch at Puli. Visit Sun Moon Lake, Wen Wu Temple, Tehua Village, Tse-En Pagoda and Holy Monk Shrine.

Day 09: Nantou – Tainan – Kaohsiung (B.L.D)
Leave Sun Moon Lake for Tainan. Lunch at Tainan. Enjoy a tour of Tainan including Koxinga Shrine, Chihkan Lou and Chi Mei Museum. Proceed to Kaohsiung and enjoy sightseeing tour of Kaohsiung including Spring and Autumn Pavilions, Love River, and Lio Ho Night Market.

Day 10: Kaohsiung – Taitung (B.L.D)
Hotel check out and depart for Kenting and visit Kenting National Park. Lunch at Kenting. After lunch proceed to Taitung via scenic Southern Highway.

Day 11: Taitung – Hualien – Taipei (B.L.D)
Hotel check out and transfer to Taitung Railway Station and take a train for Hualien. Enjoy Taroko Gorge Tour including Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Caves, Tunnel of Nine Turns and Tienhsiang Lodge. Lunch at Hualien. And then visit a Marble Factory and showroom. Take a train for Taipei. Arrive in Taipei at 7:00PM and transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Taipei – Hong Kong (B)

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel by shuttle bus and you will have two night stay in Hong Kong to explore this exciting city on your own.

Day 13: Hong Kong – Macau (B.L.D)
After breakfast, you are transferred to the pier to take a hydrofoil to Macau. Upon arrival, you will visit Ruins da Antiga Catedral de S. Paul Macau Tower. Taste Portuguese cuisine. Enjoy the night view or casinos of Macau in the evening.

Day 14: Macau – Hong Kong (B.L.D)
After breakfast, you are transferred to the pier to take a hydrofoil back to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, start your half day Hong Kong Island tour including Victoria Peak, Stanley Market and Aberdeen fishing village.

Day 15: Hong Kong (B)
Today you are at leisure to explore this exciting city or do shopping on your own.

Day 16: Hong Kong – Australia (B)

You are at leisure in the morning. In the afternoon, you are transferred to airport by shuttle bus to Hong Kong airport for your flight homewards to Australia. Fly overnight.

Day 17: Hong Kong – Australia (B)
Arriving in Australia in the morning, your unforgettable South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong tour ends.

Tour price: $5,880, now $5,280 per person, twin or double share for Sydney passengers.
Single supplement: $1,190

Tour price includes:
