Depart from Sydney to Prague, Czech Republic via Shanghai in the morning and arrive in Shanghai in the evening. Upon arrival, go through internal channel to connect your flight from Shanghai to Prague.

You will arrive at Prague Airport in the morning. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to the city centre of Prague for the morning city tour. Visit the Hradcany Castle Grounds, St Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and the Prague Astronomical Clock at Old Town Hall. Panoramic boat ride on Vltava River will follow. Check into the hotel and free afternoon. Accommodation: 4**** Hotel.

Day 03, 29 MAY: PRAGUE – BRNO – SLAVKOV U BRNA– KROMERIZ – OLOMOUC (cca 350 km)  (B.D)

Depart from Prague and travel east towards Brno – the second biggest Czech town. Enjoy a short city tour of Brno. Next stop will be Slavkov U Brna, historically known as Austerlitz, and site of one of Napoleon’s most famous battles. Continue to historical town of Kromeriz for a walk through the renovated city centre and to visit Garden and Castle at Kromeriz (UNESCO World Heritage Site). In the late afternoon arrive at Olomouc and see the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Holy Trinity Column in the old town centre.

Day 04, 30 MAY: OLOMUOC – OSWIECIM – KRAKOW (280 km) (B.D)

In the morning, depart from Olomouc toward east. Cross the border to Poland and arrive at Oswiecim to see the Concentration Camps – Auschwitz I & II Memorial and Museum. After that, travel to Krakow for a panoramic tour and walk to the Main Square – the historic centre of Krakow. Accommodation: 4**** Hotel.

Included: entrance fee with guided tour in Auschwitz concentration camp  

Day 05, 31 MAY: KRAKOW – WIELICZKA – KRAKOW (40 km) (B.D)

Visit Krakow’s main sights: Wawel Castle, St Mary’s Basilica, Jagiellonian University etc. In the afternoon, drive to Wieliczka and visit the world renown Salt Mine. Return to Krakow and enjoy a Jewish dinner with concert in Kazimierz (the traditional Jewish quarter).

Day 06, 01 JUN: KRAKOW – ZAKOPANE – SPIS – KOSICE (290 km) (B.D)

Travel to Zakopane – a famous Polish winter resort. Stop at the ski jumping area and walk through the town centre with typical mountain architecture. Then cross the Vysoke Tatry mountains into Slovakia. Visit the ruins of Spiš Castle in eastern Slovakia which forms one of the largest castle sites in Central Europe (UNESCO World Heritage). Arrive in the late afternoon at the town of Kosice, the largest city in eastern Slovakia (European Capital of Culture in 2013). Enjoy a short city tour and check into your accommodation at a 4****Hotel.


Travel south in the morning and cross the border into Hungary. Arrive at Tokaj and visit one of the wine cellars where the famous dessert wine Tokaj is produced. Continue east passing the town of Nyiregyhaza, crossing the border into Romania to see the region of Maramures, one of the most authentic and traditional regions in the country. In the afternoon, arrive at Sapanta for a visit to the famous Merry Cemetery. Accommodation in the town of Sighetu Marmatiei. Stay at a 4**** hotel.

In the morning visit one of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed-Wooden Churches of Maramures, either the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple in Barsana or the Church of Saint Nicholas in Budesti Continue south to the region of Transylvania and arrive at the town of Cluj Napoca. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and break for lunch. Next stop will be in Medias to visit Piata Unirii, Medias with the nearby St Michael’s Church. In the late afternoon arrive at the popular Sighisoara, birthplace of Count Dracula. Visit the walled old town centre with main sights. Accommodation: 4**** hotel.

Drive to Brasov and visit the old town centre with city walls and Black Church. Visit to the Bran castle will follow. This castle is associated the novel Dracula. Continue south to Sinaia and visit the Peles Castle – former summer king’s residence. In the evening, arrive at Bucharest – the capital of Romania. Accommodation: 4*** hotel

Day 10, 05 JUN: BUCHAREST (B.D)

City tour of Bucharest, which is also known as “the Paris of East”: Piata Unirii, Bucharest, Curtea Veche, Romanian Athenaeum, Lipscani district, an Orthodox church, Arcul de Triumf, King Michael I Park. Visit the Palace of the Parliament – colossal building from Communist era and the second biggest administrative building in the world. Visit the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant. Some free time in the City Centre in the afternoon. Dinner in a typical restaurant with folklore program.

In the morning, depart from Bucharest to the northwest of the country. Travel from Pitesti to Sibiu to Hunedoara. Upon arrival, visit Hunedoara, Castle, a Gothic-Renaissance castle which is one of the largest castles in Europe. In the evening, you will arrive at the town of Timisoara. Accommodation: 4**** hotel.

Day 12, 07 JUN: TIMISOARA – SZEGED – BUDAPEST (320 km) (B.D)

In the morning, enjoy a city tour of Timisoara known for Secessionist architecture. The central square, Piața Victoriei, is surrounded by baroque buildings and the Timisoara Orthodox Cathedral, with its mosaic-patterned roof tiles and icon gallery. Nearby is the Habsburg-era square Piața Unirii. Continue to the north, crossing the border back to Hungary and short city tour of the town Szeged which is known also for its salami factory. In the evening arrive at the capital of Hungary – Budapest. Accommodation: 4**** hotel.

Day 13, 08 JUN: BUDAPEST (B.D)

Enjoy a Budapest city tour after breakfast including Millennium Monument, Heroes' Square (Hosok tere), St Stephen's Basilica, Országházl, the Hungarian Parliament House (inside visit), Fisherman's Bastion, Royal Square. Enjoy a panoramic boat ride on the Danube River followed by some free time in the city centre on Vaci Street. Enjoy dinner in a typical Hungarian restaurant with local music and folklore program.

Depart toward the north west, crossing the border into Slovakia and arrive at the Male Karpaty wine region. Visit one of local wine producers for wine tasting. In the early afternoon arrive at the Slovakian capital Bratislava and enjoy a city tour including Central Grand Place, Bishop's Palace, the Slovak National Theatre, the Gothic St Martin's Cathedral and Bratislava Castle. Day 15, 10 JUN: BRATISLAVA – DEVIN – VIENNA – (90 km) (B.D)                         

After breakfast visit the ruins of Devin Castle near Bratislava. After that, cross the border into Austria and arrive at Vienna, the capital of Austria. City tour will start with Schonbrunn Palace (visit to the state rooms and apartments) and a panoramic tour will follow: Vienna State Opera, Parlamentsgebaude, Vienna City Hall, Hofburg Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Take a ride upon a famous Ferris Wheel (Wiener Riesenrad). Some free time in the city centre. Stay overnight in Vienna or nearby.

Day 16, 11 JUN: VIENNA – TELC – JINDRICHUV HRADEC – CESKE BUDEJOVICE (250 km) (B.D)                                

After breakfast head north across the border of Czech Republic to Telc. It is known for its Italian Renaissance architecture with colourful houses, arcades and ornamental gables. Have a short stop at the Old Town Square. Continue to Jindrichuv Hradec. Visit to the Museum of Jindrichuv Hradec with its famous cribs. Continue to Ceske Budejovice, capital of South Bohemia. Enjoy a short city tour with stop at Ottokar II   Square. Accommodation: 4**** hotel.


Drive to Cesky Krumlov, one of the most picturesque towns in Europe. It is a little like Prague in miniature, and the historic Town Centre is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed Site. Enjoy a walking tour around Cesky Krumlov Castle, St Vitus Church and enjoy the narrow streets...etc. Return to Ceske Budejovice for a visit to the world-known Budweiser brewery (organised tour with beer tasting). In the afternoon continue on to Hluboka to visit one of the most beautiful castles in Bohemia. In the evening arrive at Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Enjoy a Moravian roast meat dinner with beer in a typical Czech pub with music. Accommodation: 4**** hotel.
