Depart on Singapore Airlines to Cairo, capital of Egypt in the afternoon.

Day 02: CAIRO  

Arrive at Cairo International Airport in the morning. Upon your arrival you are met and assisted through the passport control. Then you are transferred to your hotel to check in and stay overnight in Cairo.

Today we will visit Memphis and Saqqara areas. Memphis is considered the most ancient capital of Egypt established by King Narmar. Saqqara: the ancient site of Memphis city, hence it abounds in monuments, antiquities and tombs. Situated on a desert plateau crowned by Zoser step pyramid, the most important place to visit in Saqqara is the Pyramid of Djoser, which is considered as one of the earliest pyramids, then proceed to have lunch at local restaurant followed by a visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World” and the only one which has remained largely intact. The Great Pyramid of Giza, built around 2580 BC in dedication to Pharaoh Khufu, it stands a monumental 449 feet high. You will participate in our private group tour of the Great Pyramid of Giza, and then the Great Sphinx of Giza. The Sphinx was carved from an outcrop of limestone as a recumbent lion with the face of the Pharaoh Khafra. Despite erosion and abuse, the Sphinx is still an inspirational sight to behold. And then we will visit the Egypt Papyrus Museum and the perfume factory. At the end of the day return back to the hotel and have dinner in hotel.

Day 04: CAIRO – LUXOR (By flight) (B.L.D) 

Check out after breakfast then transfer to the airport to take a domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival our representative will meet and assist you to start your sightseeing tour to the west bank of the Nile. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, one of the most remarkable archaeological destinations in the world - the burial place of most of the Pharaohs of Egypt of the New Kingdom period, and then proceed to visit the famed Colossi of Memnon, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari.After finishing the day tour, embark onto the cruise ship to start your Nile cruise.

Today you will visit the east bank of the Nile including the Karnak Temple Complex, known as the “Temple of All Temples.” See the obelisks, the Sacred Lake, the Great Hypostyle Hall and walk amongst the pillars of the colossal Temple of Amon Ra. After visiting Luxor Temple return to the Cruise and continue sailing to Esna, crossing Esna Lock, and then sail to Edfu. Eat dinner and spend overnight on board.

Enjoy breakfast, and then start your day upon arriving at Edfu by visiting the Temple of Edfu, the largest temple dedicated to the worship of Horus. This temple which has covered walls by the story of the fight between the God Horus and his uncle God Seth, you will visit this temple using the traditional way of transportation which is the carriage, after that back to the cruise to continue sailing to Kom Ombo, upon arrival you will visit the famous Ptolemaic-era Temple of Kom Ombo, which was built and dedicated primarily to two gods (Horus, Sobek). After that return back to the cruise and continue sailing to Aswan.

Day 07: ASWAN (B.L.D)

Today we will take our A/C motor coach to visit the largest rock temples in the world, the Abu Simbel Rock Complex for the great Pharaoh Ramesses II and his wife- Queen Nefertari. On the way back, you will sail on a felucca around Elephantine Island and catch a glimpse of Aga Khan Mausoluem. Afterwards return to the cruise ship.

Day 08: ASWAN – CAIRO (B.L.D)

After breakfast, disembark from the cruise ship and visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which tells us the story of intelligence of the old Egyptians. This obelisk was meant to be the tallest Obelisk ever built however a crack appeared in the stone and the project was abandoned. Now it exists as an open air museum for visitors to learn about obelisk construction. Afterwards you will visit the Aswan High Dam and Old Aswan Dam. Afterwards you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to hotel in Cairo

Day 09: CAIRO (B.L.D)

Breakfast on board. After arriving at Giza Railway Station, our representative will meet and assist you, then visit the Old Cairo where you will visit many places of worship important to Cairo’s diverse multi-faith community. You will first visit the Hanging Church, which was first built at the fourth century. A wood carving representing Jesus Christ entering Jerusalem, and then Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church (Abu Serga), allegedly built on top of the cave that Mary, Joseph and infant Jesus used as a shelter on their trip to Egypt to escape from King Herod. Also included are visits to the Church of the Virgin Mary, St Barbara Church, Church of St George, and the churches of Abu Seifein, Church of St Menas and Saint Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral. Have our dinner at local restaurant then proceed to the hotel and stay overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, we will depart by air-conditioned motor coach to Alexandria, “the Pearl of Mediterranean “. Upon arrival you will start your sightseeing there by visiting the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern Library of Alexandria, which aims to be a recreation of that great center of learning for the arts and sciences. Then visit Pompey’s Pillar- a huge granite pillar dating back to 297A.D. Afterwards continue to visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, After that you will visit the Citadel of Qaitbay. Lunch will be served during the day at a local restaurant, after that proceed to your hotel to check in. At night enjoy dinner at one of the best restaurants in Cairo, and then return to the hotel for the night.

We will checkout after breakfast and start your day by visiting the Royal Gardens of Al-Montaza which was built for the abdicated Royal Family of Egypt. Visit Montaza Palace and afterwards you will proceed to eat lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, we will drive back to Cairo where we will check into your hotel for the night. You will be taken to a local restaurant for dinner. When dinner is finished you will return to the hotel for the night.

Day 12: CAIRO (B.L.D)

Today you will start with a visit to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. After that, you will go to the Citadel of Salah Ed-Din, which overlooks Cairo. You will proceed to lunch that will be served at a oriental local restaurant. After lunch you will visit the Khan el-Khalili Bazaars, one of the greatest markets in the Middle East, which contains many stores that exhibit wonderful collections of jewellery, wooden products engrafted with mother of pearl, embroidered dresses and attractive hand-made products. All of these make a great selection of souvenirs for you. Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Cairo.
