South America

South America is the fourth largest of the world's continents. It is a continent that mixes the culture of four main dominant groups, the original pre-Columbian Ameridians, the Iberian settlers from Portugal and Spain, the African descendants of slaves brought to the continent to work on plantations and post-Independence immigrants. Soon after the US declared Independence from the British, the South Americans followed their example eventually becoming the various modern countries of South America including Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Peru. Join us on a tour to this continent reknown for for the famous Copacabana Beach and the iconic Christ the Redeemer of Brazil, the spectacular Iguazu Waterfalls, an amazing Patagonian Glacier, the mountains of Peru, home to the ancient Incan civilisation and the many, many beautiful cities of South America.
